The Law of Organization

A business organization is a group of people brought together for the common purpose of creating and keeping customers.

A business organization starts to form when the job that must be done to create and satisfy customers becomes too large for one person to handle. The owner must focus on the part of the job that only he or she can do individually and delegate the rest of the tasks to others.QuotationThe owner must focus on the part of the job that only he or she can do individually and delegate the rest of the tasks to others.Quotation

When this is done, new jobs are created and new opportunities are seized. The company then begins to grow to meet the needs of its customers. The growing and expansion process continues as long as the increase in the customer base continues as well.

How can you apply this law to your business immediately?

  1. Determine your specialized responsibility as defined by how you contribute to the company’s ability to serve its customers.
  2. Identify how your job is changing within the organization. Determine which changes you will have to make in order increase your knowledge, skills or activities to remain valuable if not indispensable to your company.
  3. Make a plan today to increase your contribution which will in turn result in your company’s increased success.
